Bibles & Wells in Uganda Update
This year at Na we gave all the shirt profits to build wells in Uganda and then sold $10 bookmarks and gave the profits to send Bible to Uganda. Your response was amazing. We raised $3,000 to build wells in Uganda and, get this, $19,000 to send Bibles to Uganda.
Doug Hayes leads the ministry, Covenant Mercies, that will be building the wells and getting the Bibles to Uganda. We asked him to give you a better idea of what these funds will mean to the people receiving clean water and Bibles…

A few note taking tips:
_If you’re trying to get down every word, forget it (especially when Mark Dever speaks). Don’t write so much that you forget to listen.
_Some people write notes to help them listen (you know who you are!). If it helps you focus, by all means do what you need to do.
_Whatever you do, write enough to help you…

So spend some time…
Read More...idea #1: spend personal time with God
So I’m going to be posting some ideas on how to prepare yourself for the conference. Here’s the first one:
Meet with God personally during the conference, not just in the sessions.
Taking time to meet with God to have your personal devotions during the conference really matters. Sure, you may be hearing all sorts of great biblical truth and spending more time than usual talking…

A few weeks ago I sat down with C.J. and Josh and talked about the message topics for this year’s conference. It was a great conversation.
Personally, I’m really excited that we’re going to spend 4 days learning from CJ, Josh, Al Mohler, Mark Dever and John Piper about the Bible--some of the men that have influenced me on my understanding of the Bible the most. We’re about…
