More ways we glorify God by Thomas Watson.

11.  “We glorify god by contending for the truth.”

This is a great thought to consider in our pluralistic culture. It is an even greater challenge because of our call to love those we disagree with and to communicate with humility. If you have not listened to Mark Dever’s message from last year check it out.

12.  “We glorify God by praising him.”

Here’s a great quote from this section “When we praise God, we spread his fame and renown.”

13.  “We glorify God when we have an eye to God in our natural and in our civil actions; in eating, in drinking.  A grace filled person hold the golden bridle of temperance, he makes his food, not fuel for lust, but help to duty.”
