what was that song that I think Bob Kaufman sang that started out “Do you know I know what’s best?” He sang it on Monday during Eric Simmons message. Please let me know if that song is on a CD!

Mari on Thu May 29, 2008 at 3:36 pmBeth,
That was actually a prophetic song, so it’s not on a cd. But, a friend of mine was able to transcribe it. Here are the lyrics:
“Do you believe that I know what is best?
“Do you believe that I’ve chosen you for this test?
“Though you may not understand it
“Though you may not have a clue
“I’ve designed what you’re going through just for you
“I’ve heard the questions that you’ve asked me
“When you wonder if I care
“My promises are trustworthy
“You can know I’ll be there
“My son knows your weaknesses
“Suffered in your place
“He took the pain that you deserved
“So that you could know my grace
“There will be a day
“When there’ll be no more pain
“Look upon my face
“And know the trial was worth it
“All the things I do
“I’m working now in you
“To trust me, to know me, to believe me, to love me
“To draw close to you
“And If I heal you
“I can heal you
“I have power to turn this around
“If you don’t see healing until you see me
“Anything can be changed
“You wonder if I know what is best
“I’ve chosen you for this test
“My grace is sufficient for all that you need
“My grace will lead you to me.”
Sorry that you can’t actually listen to it again, but I hope that the lyrics help enough.
In Christ,
~Favored

Thank you for an awesome conference with music that was an incredible blessing!
One of the songs had an amazing chorus with the guys singing “Grace” and the ladies come in with “grace, grace, grace” that’s all I can remember, does anyone know the name of that song?
Thanks!
Becky
Becky, I think the song you’re looking for is called “Grace Unmeasured”
Check out the lyrics here to see if it’s the one:

Does anyone have the prophetic song from Saturday’s first message?
Leah on Sat May 31, 2008 at 12:29 pmIs there any way to get a hold of Bob’s prophetic song? I know that last year you guys posted a link for the songs he sang prophetically.

Thank you! Cheers to Devon and all that led us in worship over the weekend, and thank you for lifting my eyes to our great savior! I was hoping to get the songlist as I was greatly affected by several songs that I had not heard before.
Again, thank you.
