I had never heard of New Attitude before attending last year. I have to give God all the glory for how I even ended up at Na. Two weeks before the conference I was at a pastor friend’s home and he was telling me and my dad about the Together for the Gospel conference. The conversation ended up turning to the current reformed movement in the younger generation. Then he gave me a book called Young, Restless, and Reformed by Collin Hansen. The conversation really sparked an interest in me and I started reading the book that night. I finished it a day or two later and decided that I wanted to attend the Na conference that summer.
Within a week and a half I organized the trip and my father and I found ourselves at the Na conference. Na was by far the best conference we have ever attended. I was amazed by the heart of those spearheading the event and by the purposeful attitudes of all those that attended. It was at this conference that I can say God really revealed His love for me. Through the worship and the teachings (especially the two messages by C.J.) I came to realize how far His love was extended towards me and how totally incapable I was to earn any of it.
Since the conference I can sincerely call myself Reformed. It rekindled my passion for the Lord and thoroughly prepared me for the things God had in store for me in the following semester in college. I continue to go back and remind myself of the things God revealed to me at Na. Since Na I have experienced such amazing spiritual growth and an even deeper relationship with the Lord.
