New Attitude has a new name, new lineup of speakers, and a new location. A lot is changing for 2009.

Jath Candy. Na 07.

I went to the 2007 Na conference after being saved only about 5 months. Before going, I wasn’t too interested because the whole “Christian thing” was new to me. I wasn’t even planning on going until I found out that a family member had paid for me. I was still stuck in many bad habits (sin) from before I was saved and was being led by my heart and by what I thought was good and not God. I had never been to a place where thousands of young adult Christians worshipped together, let alone a concert, so I was astonished at what I was seeing. Each message had taught me something I never knew before.

But the one that really opened my eyes was “Discern Your Heart” by C.J. Mahaney. God had revealed to me the idolatry that I held so closely to my heart. Even though I still didn’t understand much, God had so graciously convicted me, turning me to Him. I realized then that the choices I made, either in action or reaction, were not being motivated by God but my own evil desires. It had affected me so strongly that I was even afraid to go back to “real life.” I knew that what I wanted too much, I was going to have to give up. It was a hard thing to do, but by God’s grace, He constantly led me to His word over and over again comforting me with his promises. I thank God for bringing me to New Attitude in 2007 revealing Himself to me in such an impacting way.
