New Attitude has a new name, new lineup of speakers, and a new location. A lot is changing for 2009.

Jess Britt. Na 2002.

By God’s amazing kindness, I have been able to attend every New Attitude. And I am so grateful! It’s very difficult to sit down and write a testimony of God’s work in my life at NA. There have been so many. Overall, New Attitude has been a time of refreshment, conviction, and enjoying my Savior. It is the highlight of my year (even more than Christmas, which is saying something!).

In 2002—Louie Giglio’s message on the Holiness of God. After Louie’s message, we had a time of worship. For some reason unknown to me (but perfectly orchestrated by God) I sat by myself that session. I was not sitting by anyone I knew. I was completely undistracted. I don’t know quite how to put it into words. I had asked God to reveal His holiness to me (during Louie’s message). I had come with some pretty specific questions that year. I needed some pretty specific direction for the coming months. As I knelt on the floor, I was overcome with God’s holiness and my complete otherness. I felt like I couldn’t move. It felt like God’s presence was all around me, I felt surrounded by His holiness. In those couple of minutes I had my answer. Look how huge God was and yet He saved me. I was in awe and I could not speak. And I knew the answer to my question: Yes, I needed to move with my family and go on a church plant. Look at the amazing love of this Holy God. How could I not serve Him in any and every way that He asked me to?

jess,
i am so grateful for you.  i’m grateful you listened to the Holy Spirit and moved with your family to plant our church.  I cannot imagine the past 5 years without you - you’ve been such an amazing example of the gospel to me and to so many others.  thank you for the many sacrifices you’ve willingly made to serve.  thank you for trusting God in the midst of it all.  you are such a dear sweet friend.

and for everyone else, i can vouch that what she said is true… she really does love Na more than Christmas, and that’s saying a lot b/c this girl loves Christmas more than anyone else I know!  ha!  :)

love you so much!!!  I thank God every day for the amazing gift your friendship is!  :)
