Updates - General Updates
Stay Connected
We at Na know you’ve got a lot to keep up with—project deadlines, church events, NCAA brackets, and 300 Facebook friends—so we’ve created some simple, pain-free ways to keep in touch with New Attitude. Take a look.
E-mail
The latest from Na straight to your inbox. We know you want to guard what comes into your inbox, so here’s what we’ll keep you updated on in our monthly Na Update:
_Conference--the essential information on our yearly conference including updates about early registration rates.
_Music and Media--the latest on new NAP Records music projects (like the upcoming album “Looked Upon”) and videos.
_Articles--the best of our articles section each month.
All that packed into one brief, scan-able e-mail. To sign-up enter your e-mail address in the field on the top right corner of our website and click the little arrow to send it to us.
RSS
If you use an RSS reader like Google Reader or Bloglines (or if your browser has an RSS reader built-in) then check out our RSS feeds page. You can sign-up for updates from just one section of the site but The Blend gives you the best of everything.
Be An Online Friend
It’s a bit lonely sitting out here in cyberspace by ourselves so become a friend on Flickr or a fan on Facebook.
And if you’re beginning to feel that our friendship is a bit one-sided, then write us back. We do enjoy hearing from you.
Send Us a Story, We’ll Send You a Book
UPDATE: Thanks for participating and sending in stories. We’re happy to report that we’ve given away all of our books.
This month we’re highlighting Mark Dever’s book The Gospel and Personal Evangelism and giving out free copies of the book to the first 25 people that send us their stories of taking the gospel to people around them.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
_A specific conversation or encounter in which you shared the gospel
_A longer story of how you or someone you know shared the gospel through your actions
_A personal story or the story of a friend that you want to highlight (though if you send in the story we’ll send you the book to give to your friend).
_A word count of 500-800 words
We’ll publish many of your stories on the blog in the next few weeks. (And when we run out of books we’ll update this page to let you know.)
E-mail your story in an attachment to
Check out a free chapter of The Gospel and Personal Evangelism.
Build Your Library, Don’t Break the Bank
Prices over at the Sovereign Grace Store have dropped to an all-time low for the month of February.
_Every Sovereign Grace Music album is only $6 (including NAP records projects)
_Every book in the very useful Pursuit of Godliness series is only $5
_Ultra-low prices on songbooks, accompaniment CDs, and piano scores
_Our favorite part: free shipping. (So the price you see is the price you pay.)
Expand your music and book libraries without breaking the bank. But hurry, the sale only lasts as long as the supplies do so take a look now.
Promo Vid on YouTube
In case you missed it, our promo video is on YouTube and you can view it here. If you think the promo video would make a nice addition to your blog you’ll find the code to copy and paste there too.
Meet Our Shiny New Website
You may have noticed but our website looks a little different. Let us answer your questions…
Where’s the old blog? What are these article things? We’ve split our content into three streams: articles written by our blog authors providing pastoral and theological help, updates and news about the conference and Na in general, and a more personal blog written by Eric Simmons and helped by our creative team.
Where do I register for and find information on the 2008 conference? Visit our Conference Page. You can find out more about this year’s conference by watching the Promo Video or visiting the Details Page. Also, you’ll find the all-important Travel Page information on hotels offering specials rates for Na attendees.
Is it just me or is this website better organized? Well, we hope so. Our front page has a mix of everything we publish and acts as the pulse of the site but you can also see each content stream individually and browse past entries. In the articles section it’s finally easy to find what you’re looking for—you can view entries by category, by month posted, and by author. You can also get the RSS feed for one or for all three streams.
